As a user of this website, you acknowledge that any use of this website including any transactions you make are subject to our terms and conditions below and supersede all others. Receipt of acknowledgement of an order by you, constitutes your acceptance of our conditions and that they are the only conditions that apply to the contract.

Handling and Carriage

Quantity - In the event that a courier service (sent via Discountbannerprinting.co.uk) or other delivery method (arranged by the client) is used to transport items produced by Discountbannerprinting.co.uk, you must sign for all items provided by Discountbannerprinting.co.uk as “unchecked” unless the goods have been thoroughly examined and deemed to be acceptable (checked that the full quantity is there).

Damage - Also Discountbannerprinting.co.uk cannot be held responsible for damage by a delivery service that was not arranged by Discountbannerprinting.co.uk or was arranged by Discountbannerprinting.co.uk and was signed for without prior inspection by the client.

All sales are final due to the manufacturing and design process we can not refund any bespoke item produced by Discountbannerprinting.co.uk as these are custom made for the client.

Re-Stocking Any non-bespoke items that Discountbannerprinting.co.uk provide can be returned within 7 days if you are dissatisfied but they must be returned in the condition that they were provided and are subject to a 15% re-stocking charge.

Discountbannerprinting.co.uk have the right to change prices listed on company websites or literature at any time without prior notice, and serves as no part of any contract.

Quotes are valid for 30 days only, thereafter the client should request another quote for services or goods required. -

Prices includes postage and packing within the UK, price's also include VAT (Value added tax)

Payment can be made by Visa, cheque, Google or pay pal.

Colour Setup and Production

Client Proof should be provided by hard copy if supplied by disk or by PDF with all fonts embedded, failure to provide an accurate proof voids any responsibility on incorrectly printed work on behalf of Discountbannerprinting.co.uk.

CYMK all files should be saved in cymk format, failure to do so may result in colour differences from the original file and all responsibilities lie with the client and at no point is Discountbannerprinting.co.uk responsible for incorrectly saved files. All files provided to Discountbannerprinting.co.uk must have a minimum resolution of 300 DPI. Files supplied that are less than 300 DPI may appear fuzzy, distorted or pixelated. Discountbannerprinting.co.uk do not accept responsibility for such problems.

4 colour printing CMYK all large format files digitally printed by Discountbannerprinting.co.uk are printed through a colour process called 4 colour CMYK.

This process is far different from conventional litho printing and the results can be noticeable, the process produces a far greater colour spectrum or gamut superior to conventional print allowing you to see more subtle tones and many more colours deeper reds or more vivid flesh tones and colours. The large format printers at Discountbannerprinting.co.uk are calibrated to profiles for digitally printed media suitable for this process and not in anyway is there colour matching to conventional litho printing. All responsibility lies with the clients for failure to understand this process and files should only be submitted by those people who have a firm understanding of this process and at no time is Discountbannerprinting.co.uk responsible for incorrectly saved files (should you require additional information please call Discountbannerprinting.co.uk on: 01302 288377)


Proofs of all artwork may be submitted for customer’s approval and Discountbannerprinting.co.uk shall incur no liability for any errors not corrected by the customer in final proofs so submitted. For the avoidance of doubt it is the customer’s duty to ensure that the final proof is checked thoroughly as no liability will attach to the printer for any failure by the customer to check for any errors in the final proof howsoever arising. Customer’s alterations and additional proofs necessitated thereby shall be charged extra.

Please also note that the colours represented in the proofs may be different to the colours printed on the product, all monitors are calibrated differently other effects are also possible and not limited to (Age, revision, size etc).

A colour match service can be arranged at an extra cost of £30 per job.

Artwork supplied - We do not send artwork proofs or make any checks of artwork supplied, as we assume that all artwork supplied has been sent ready to print

Fonts must be supplied with every job or fonts converted to outline, failure to supply the correct fonts will result in a difference in the finished item and all responsibility for failure to supply files correctly lies with client.

Templates are provided by Discountbannerprinting.co.uk and available from our website, but please confirm or request an accurate template before submitting files for print, the responsibility for failure to supply files correctly lies with you the client and not with Discountbannerprinting.co.uk (Should you require additional information please call Discountbannerprinting.co.uk on: 01302 288377)

Bleed should be provided on all artwork (5mm) on all side’s before submitting files for print, failure to supply files correctly, responsibility lies with client and not with Discoüntbannerprinting.co.uk in any shape or form

Roller Banner Stand Recoil usually displayed as red on our template and is for the cassette mechanism and is a non-visual aspect of the stand. Text and key information should be kept clear of this and any of our template information removed before submitting files for print, failure to supply files correctly, responsibility lies with client and not with Discountbannerprinting.co.uk in any shape or form.

Colour Matching In the event that a reprint is required of any existing stand/printed material originally provided by Discountbannerprinting.co.uk or otherwise, please be aware that due to differing conditions/media/inks/processes used from the time the original was printed and the time the reprint is produced, discountbannerprinting.co.uk cannot guarantee a perfect colour match discountbannerprinting.co.uk cannot be held responsible for any colour difference between the original and the newly printed material.

Artwork & Design

(1) – ownership of goods or products shall not pass to the Customer until full payment is received. The Customer grants to Discountbannerprinting.co.uk a royalty free irrevocable licence to use any artwork produced (made or printed) by Discountbannerprinting.co.uk for Discountbannerprinting.co.uk’s promotional material.

(2) Minimum artwork charge - There will be a minimum artwork/design charge of £7 for any work undertaken. If you require a specific artwork/design quote please contact us at 01302 370888

(3) Illegal matter - We shall be indemnified by the Customer in respect of any claims, costs and expenses arising out of any libellous matter or any infringement of copyright, patent, design or of any other proprietary or personal rights contained in any material processed for the Customer. The indemnity shall extend to any amounts paid on a lawyer’s advice and costs in settlement of any claim.


Turnaround times are based on working days (Monday to Friday) and exclude all public holidays. The printing turnaround time starts when your order is paid for and a if needed a proof has been confirmed via email to the Artwork Team. If the order is confirmed and paid for after 9am the first day of the turnaround time will be the following working day. All turnaround times quoted are a typical turnaround and are notguaranteed unless confirmed to you in writing. Turnaround times can vary depending on backlogs and order specification unfortunately due to the nature of printing custom items we cannot always contact the client with a guaranteed TOA .

For multiple item orders, the turnaround time will be the same as the item which has the longest turnaround time (for example lamination can extend the turnaround of an item due to the process needed).D



We will do our very best to dispatch your product within 48 hours of approval of your proof. We will not be held responsible for any delays beyond our control unless supplied in writing, which includes and is not limited to; couriers, postal delays, stock availability and print machine malfunction. We will not accept any charges incurred.

A refund of any upgraded delivery for example (Saturday guaranteed) will be refunded if delayed.

Limitations on liability

We shall have no liability:

(1) for defective products and/or services where the defect has been caused or contributed to by you or where is has been caused or contributed to by any Free Issue Materials and/or masters provided by you and/or arising from any drawing, design or specification supplied by you.

(2) to you if the price for the products and/or the services has not been paid in full by the due date for payment.

(3) to you if problems with defective products are not reported to us within 5 working days from the day you received the products.

(4) Size - all stickers are cut within 3mm from each side so could be out by a total of 5mm, banners have a 2.5 inch hem top and bottom so can be out by 5 - 7 inch in length and 5 inch in height.

(5) to you for defective products and/or services, products not dispatched or products damaged or lost in transit unless the event is notified to us within (5 working days).

(6) for damage, loss, liability, claims, costs or expenses caused or contributed to by your continued use of defective products and/or services after a defect has become apparent or suspected or should reasonably have become apparent to you

(7) Unless you give us reasonable opportunity to remedy any matter for which we are liable before you incur any costs and/or expenses in remedying the matter yourself. If you do not do so we shall have no liability to you.

(8) If we have included any items in products supplied which are incorrect and/or we have failed to include any items in products supplied which should have been included then we shall have no liability for such error except to rectify the error and reimburse you for the cost of returning the defective products to us for us to rectify the error.

(9) We shall have no liability to you for any:

- Consequential losses;

- Loss of profits and/or damage to goodwill;

- Economic and/or other similar losses;

- Special damages and indirect losses; and/or

- business interruption, loss of business, contracts, opportunity and/or production.

(10) Force majeure - We will not be liable for breach of contract arising from or caused by, directly or indirectly, force majeure, war, strikes, riots and civil commotions and natural disasters.


All products offered are guaranteed for a period of twelve months unless otherwise stated from the date of the original invoice against failure to provide reasonable wear owing to defective workmanship or materials. The guarantee excludes faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse. In the event of a warranty claim, please return the item with a copy of the original invoice to:


Please clearly identify the area or part that has failed. All items must be returned in a clean, dry condition.


Right to cancel as a consumer under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000

If you are dealing as a consumer (i.e. as an individual who is acting outside of his or her business) you have a right to cancel your order within seven working days following the day after the date of delivery for any unused item purchased through the website under the distance selling regulations for refund. This does not apply to any perishable goods, or item personalised (designed) or made to your specification, for example, from artwork supplied by customers or with regard to size colour and general specification.

To cancel any item, you can e-mail, telephone, or write to us quoting your invoice number. You must take reasonable care of the items, and must not use them Goods must be returned to us within seven days of your notice to cancel. Items may be returned to us, at the above shown address. All goods are returned at your own expense unless the item is deemed faulty or incorrect, where we will refund the cost on receipt of the goods. Should you require your unwanted goods to be collected, we will deduct the appointed couriers direct costs from the refund given.

Providing the goods are received back in an unused condition, and with all accessories, you will receive a refund within thirty days of your notice to cancel.

Business to Business Transactions

Discountbannerprinting.co.uk reserves the right at its sole discretion whether to accept returned goods, rectify the goods or issue a credit note or refund in respect of the said goods. All items returned to us will be subject to a 20% - 50% restocking charge, this is providing the goods are in original, as sold condition. Any additional charge should the goods not be returned in ‘as sold condition’ will be at the discretion of Discountbannerprinting.co.uk. The Customer will be responsible for the return carriage and insurance costs ensuring the safe return to the Company. Risk in respect of carriage of goods remains with the Customer until goods are received by us. Credit will not be given if items are returned later than 14 days from the date of supply. Credit is at the sole discretion of Discountbannerprinting.co.uk. Carriage costs will not be refunded or credited. The Contract will be non-cancellable and goods cannot be returned when ordered and made to the Customer’s specification, for example, from the Customer’s supplied artwork, i.e. with regard to size, colour and general specification.


Artwork charge

Artwork is a perishable good and cannot be returned due to this any artwork started is charged at 30% of the items value if the customer wishes to cancel.

This privacy policy covers Discount banner printing, its Web sites, and any other method of selling.

You can browse our site(s) without disclosing any personal data to us. Any links to third party web sites are covered by the third parties privacy policies. We do not automatically log personal data nor do we link information automatically logged by other means with personal data about specific individuals.
